Halfpenny London / Boutique Redesign

The Halfpenny London flagship store has been redesigned in collaboration with Mutt Studios and we have been given a peek inside this gorgeous Bloomsbury bridal boutique.

Following the recent refresh, this fabulous new boutique design combines designer and founder Kate Halfpenny's love of fashion and art, with stunning sculptural details. The new look displays a bold palette and hand-picked artwork to compliment her gorgeous bridal designs.

Let's take a look inside...

Kate Halfpenny started her career as a costume designer and celebrity stylist before founding Halfpenny London in 2005. Since then, Halfpenny London has become one of the UK’s leading luxury bridalwear brands, crafted in England (95% in London). Kate’s exquisite and highly distinctive pieces transcend the world of bridal and have become coveted by the fashion elite with impeccable red carpet style. Samples run from 6-22 with every piece made to order. All fabrics are responsibly sourced and all off-cuts are recycled into design details and added onto gowns to avoid waste. Where this isn't possible, Kate donates all end-of-line fabrics and samples to schools and universities, ensuring no fabrics are landfilled. Kate was included in 2019's Walpole Power List - 50 Influential People in British Luxury.

In 2015 the brand began working with a London-based factory to meet sales demands. Before this, everything was made in the brand's atelier above the brand's boutique in Bloomsbury. As of 2022, Halfpenny began working with 5 London factories and 2 independent makers specialised in their field whilst growing the atelier team by 40%. Whilst Halfpenny London has strong wholesale partnerships with British stores, the brand is equally successful in Japan and growing in the USA.
