Patricia Barclay Announces NEW Bridalwear Design Studio

Patricia Barclay Bridalwear to launch brand new design studio, to open in early October 2024.

After a setback and recovering from a broken hip, Bridal designer Patricia Barclay Bridals is back with a bang as she announces the launch of her brand new design studio on the outskirts of Ilkley. Based in a beautiful Grade II listed building, depicting the impressive “Story of Wool”, a mural designed by the renowned artist William George Mitchell, which wraps around the building entrance.

Set within beautiful landscaped grounds and views of the impressive Cow & Calf and Ilkley Moor, there is plenty of parking and also close to Ilkley train station and on the main Wharfedale line between Leeds and Bradford taking in the beautiful market towns of Ben Rydding, Menston and Burley in Wharfedale on the route.

This beautiful studio was designed especially for Patricia Barclay Bridals, with the main focal point being a stunning atrium with lots of natural light. The most magical place in which to find your wedding dress hanging on the rail or even better being able to design and create it yourself.

Patricia says "Imagine, stepping into the world of 'Willy Wonka and His Chocolate Factory', and being able to create the most beautiful tasting chocolate, dark and decadent, milk and luxurious, strawberry, vanilla, coffee, cream or latte, then voila the magic begins. Instead, you see rails of beautiful dresses in sumptuous fabrics of ivory, blush pinks, warm summer blues, floral 3D flowers, sparkle, glitz and glamour. Ball gown skirts, sexy thigh-high splits, low and illusion backs, elegant, demure and plunging necklines, sleeves or no sleeves, bows, detachable trains and overskirts. Traditional, exciting, risque and literally out of the box, amidst the charm and elegance, there is no better place to come and play real dress up."

Patricia can design and create a bride's ultimate dream wedding dress, allowing her brides to bring to life their perfect bridal look by playing around with separates. Everything is possible and lead times are within 12 weeks!
