New Collection / Nadine Merabi
For cool, contemporary chic bride, looking to make jaws drop, or forming the perfect second look for a party-filled reception, Nadine Merabi is fast building a reputation for playful bridal looks, with more than a handful of sequins and a flourish of feather trim.
Described by Drapers as ‘over-the-top occasionwear’, Nadine Merabi kick-started her career on social media, using the pandemic as an opportunity to push her products through Instagram, and encouraging the recipients of pieces from her collection to post themselves wearing them. By September 2022 Merabi had reached one million followers. Further, between 2020 and 2021 revenue had increased to more than £9million, an increase of some 700%.
Dresses, separates and jumpsuits are the stand-out pieces in this co-ord packed collection. So here we have it – 13 designs, 12 pieces and one that has had a makeover – this is the SS23 collection from Nadine Merabi…
This stunning collection is beaded and floral and everything feminine. Sequins and beads combine and invisible zips are a real thing.
The first three styles presented in the beaded story all feature diamanté detailed feather appliqués. ARIA (above) a round-neck mini dress and MILA, a low plunge V-neck mini dress, both feature shoulder pads and buttons to the hem and shoulders and include a complimentary detachable tonal slip dress available in either nude or dark nude.
ELISSA, a jumpsuit, created with a low plunge v-neckline and fully lined crepe trousers. The final detail to the three pieces is the detachable crepe belts.
The next story in NADINE MERABI’S Bridal SS23 Collection is floral. The first style presented in this story is PIPPA, a playful mini dress. Featuring a round-neck, shoulder pads, long-sleeves, and a satin box-pleated skirt with pockets.
NAOMI, a midi dress, and GABRIELLA, a fishtail maxi dress both high-neck, feature long-sleeves, detachable satin belts, shoulder pads and both include a complementary detachable tonal slip dress available in either nude or dark nude.
The final piece in the floral story is JOANNA. The round-neck embellished long-sleeve jumpsuit features fully lined crepe trousers and a detachable crepe belt.
Next in the Bridal SS23 Collection is ASHLEY, a crepe satin lined jumpsuit. Featuring off-the-shoulder detailing, structured satin, boning to the front and back and non-functional button detailing down the back. Created with a detachable crepe belt and trousers.
KIMBERLEY, a figure-hugging exclusive crepe maxi fishtail skirt features seam detailing and panelling. A versatile crisp style fully lined in satin and pairs perfectly with the new KARA White Bustier, a full feather top featuring detachable jewelled diamanté straps and internal bonding.
Both DINA and LILAH are sleek satin white robes. DINA is short, and LILAH is long. Both pieces are multi-wear and feature low plunge v-necklines, self-fabric ties and loose sleeves with premium feather cuffs. LILAH features a slit to the centre leaving a panel that moves with every movement.
The final piece in the Bridal SS23 Collection is KIRA. The shimmering crystal-embellished fitted shorts are lined in satin. KIRA is an already known and loved piece, originating from main range but making its way into bridal in a crisp white shade. The best-selling KIRA White Bra Top and White Blazer is perfect when paired with the new KIRA White Shorts, creating a statement bridal co-ord set.
These 13 styles make up the NADINE MERABI Bridal SS23 Collection. A collection encapsulating timeless beauty and glamour – a true ode to tradition but a nod to the modern bride.
