By flooding major cities with sub-£800 “walk-out-today” gowns, it teaches brides that a wedding dress is a commodity, not a crafted, fitted, once-in-a-lifetime garment. Once that mental anchor is set, every independent boutique has to fight twice as hard to justify fair pricing, proper margins, and the real cost of service."

"It's with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the Bridal Trade Show.
Despite the significant time, planning, and passion poured into creating a fresh and meaningful alternative, it has become clear that the industry is, for now, more comfortable sticking with the same UK trade events- despite ongoing concerns and underwhelming results.

Our goal was to re-energise the UK bridal trade space, to create a central, accessible event that truly prioritised the needs of bridal retailers, who are the backbone of our entire industry. Sadly, that vision did not receive the support needed to bring it fully to life.

"It's with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the Bridal Trade Show.
Despite the significant time, planning, and passion poured into creating a fresh and meaningful alternative, it has become clear that the industry is, for now, more comfortable sticking with the same UK trade events- despite ongoing concerns and underwhelming results.

Our goal was to re-energise the UK bridal trade space, to create a central, accessible event that truly prioritised the needs of bridal retailers, who are the backbone of our entire industry. Sadly, that vision did not receive the support needed to bring it fully to life.
